For years the various ministries to the arts and entertainment industries in the Los Angeles area have worked together closely to build a strong presence and support Christians who live and work in that area. The idea to start Church and Art Network was actually inspired by the success of Hollywood Connect in providing a “hub” of information and relationships for these organizations and individuals.

Arts & Entertainment Ministries provides education, resources and dialogue for those wrestling through the issues of integrating faith and art. This exciting journey of the intersection of worldviews, faith and art not only include the artists and creative professionals on the cutting edge but educators such as college professors and clergy who minister and pastor artists as well.
The mission of the Azusa Pacific University Department of Art and Design is to prepare art students for a lifetime of artistic expression and to cultivate individual creativity through the study of history, technique, presentation, and social engagement, as a reflector of the creative and transformative nature of God.
The Greenhouse exists to bring creative artists to life. Its mission is to maximize the potential and productivity of individuals engaged in the creative arts by equipping them in all areas of life through relationships, mentoring, group discussions, and artistic projects. It seeks to engage and enhance culture locally and globally through superior artwork and entertainment.
Hollywood Connect equips creative artists and professionals to thrive personally and professionally in the arts, media, and entertainment industries. Hollywood Connect offers guidance and resources for both newcomers and long-time veterans on every level – creative, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, and physical – with an emphasis on excellence, artistic growth, cultural influence, and relationships.
Hollywood Prayer Network was started by Hollywood entertainment industry professionals for the purpose of praying for the people, projects, and issues in Hollywood. HPN believes that by mobilizing global prayer we can be a part of God’s miraculous work of changing the spiritual climate of Hollywood, from the inside out.
Models for Christ is actively reaching people working in the fashion industry with the Gospel, and encouraging/counseling them to love, know, and serve Jesus. MFC has bases in LA, NYC, and Miami.
Seeds Fine Arts Exhibits has three goals: to exhibit art that encourages, convicts and inspires both secular and ecumenical communities; to minister to the fine artists involved through fellowship and exhibit opportunities; and to teach and exhort our contemporary church and school families in the use of fine art as worship.
Individual members
Denise Weyhrich creates conversations and encouragement through conceptual artworks. The choice of media and forms she uses are intrinsic to the each artwork and might include installations, assemblage, ceramics, photography, mixed media, etc. Denise is also one of the curators of Seeds Fine Arts Exhibits (see above).
