Luann Jennings is the founder and director of Church and Art Network and a regular writer for the C&A blog. Luann served for nearly ten years in the worship and music ministries of Intown Community Church in Atlanta and Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City before founding Redeemer’s new Arts Ministry, designed to minister to all of the artists in the church’s midst and cultivate a passion for the arts within the congregation. After running that ministry for six more years, Luann left Redeemer in fall 2010 to found Church and Art Network and teach theatre and public speaking classes at St. John’s University.
Luann’s artistic background is as a theatre director, acting instructor, and arts administrator. She lives in Long Island City, Queens, with her husband Chuck (a jazz guitar player), two cats, and a great view of the 59th Street Bridge.
